The WPICS runs a SENDMAIL server that receives all mail addressed to [username]@cs.wpi.edu as well as email addressed to several old legacy machines.

The mail server runs an SSL encrypted webserver providing webmail access, and runs a secure IMAP server.  Encryption on both of these are done via a certificate that WPICS has purchased for the purpose.
