===== Network (DOS) Boot Floppy =====

Where to get it, how to prepare it.

==== Where ====

The floppy can be downloaded from [[http://www.netbootdisk.com/]].  Always use the newest copy, as it will be most likely to work with new machines.

==== How ====

Follow the directions to make the disk.  Then boot the disk and add [[cs_lmhosts_entries|CS LMHOSTS entries]] (consider explaining how, Mike).

Once the lmhosts are added, consider write-protecting the floppy.  You'll need to nu-protect it to swithc it between DHCP and static network configuration, but 80% of the time you'll be using it in DHCP mode so you won't be inconveniencing yourself too much and the disk will be a smidgen safer.
