===== Network Operations infrastructure in Fuller a24 =====

Netops has two [[http://www.juniper.net/us/en/products-services/switching/ex-series/ex4200/|Juniper EX4200 Series 48PoE+]] switches in Fuller a24, these are located in [[fla24_cabinet1|Cabinet 1]] and [[fla24_cabinet3|Cabinet 3]].  These switches are owned and maintained by NetOps and were provided at no cost to us, for which we are grateful.

Each of these switches has redundant power supplies and receives power from the PDUs in the rack containing it, so we should be able to remotely power cycle these if necessary (hopefuly not).

Normally connecting more than 8 machines to a single network port will cause that port to be shutoff, but **I believe** the limit on these two switches has been extended to 16 or 32, to allow our use of VM Servers (which frequently run a dozen or more VMs) in our cabinets.
