List of things to do to/with a newly-purchased computer
- netreg
- add to machine inventory
- image (for Windows) or build (for other)
- deploy (record location in inventory)
We want to keep track, if possible, of the users of our machines, their locations, and the hardware in them.
Knowing these facts and having quick access to them will allow us to keep our inventory up to date, which allows us to upgrade the right machines at the right times.
